Welcome to the home page of Robert Wilson!

I am currently a postdoc in the laboratories of Yael Niv and Jonathan Cohen in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience Institute at Princeton University. My research mixes theoretical modelling, psychophysics and brain imaging to probe the neural mechanics of decision making.  I am particularly interested in how unexpected changes, subjective uncertainty and shifting task representations affect dopaminergic and noradrenergic pathways in the brain and how these alter reward seeking behavior in humans.
